Youth News Our Youth Group is continuing to be quite successful! Attendance on Sunday nights is still averaging 10-15 and they have been busy with several activities. Along with Youth Sunday on April 20th, the group also performed a community service project by cleaning the litter along Whitehall Road. In My, they are planning to visit the new laser tag facility in Chesapeake City, which sounds like a lot of fun! On April 11th, Youth attended the SBA's lock in, which started at Oak Grove Baptist Church and moved to the Bel Air Athletic Club. This is a great time for fellowship with other youth groups from Cecil and Harford Counties. The overall attendance for the night was approximately 200, with 6 from FBC. Our your group attended the Youth Evangelism Conference in Baltimore last month. The schedule included a concert and guest speaker on Friday evening, two workshops of interest on Saturday morning, community service work in the afternoon, and ending with a concert and guest speaker in the evening. They attended worship on Sunday morning at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Overall, a very successful weekend and a very enlightening experience for both our youth and our leaders! |
