Babies and Toddlers

Our baby nursery is for children up to 2 years of age. Two workers each Sunday care for the infants and toddlers as they play, eat a snack, or rock them to sleep.

Ages 2-3

The 2 and 3 year old class has activities, a snack, and a Bible story each week. It meets in one half of the weekday preschool, and the teachers often use the facilities to allow the children to engage their physical abilities along with their spiritual growth.

Ages 4-5

The 4 and 5 year old class also meets in one half of the weekday preschool. The two teachers in that class have games, music, and a Bible story ready for pre-kindergartners and kindergartners ready each week. The lead teacher in this class, Bonnie Hagerman, has been involved with our Sunday morning programs for years.

Grades 1-3

Two ladies take turns teaching grades 1 through 3 each week. One of them is an elementary school teacher, and the other is the director of our weekday preschool. This class meets downstairs below the sanctuary each week for a bible story and activities related to the story.

Grades 4-6

Our 4th-6th grade class is taught by two faces familiar to our Sunday School department. It meets in a downstairs classroom beneath the sanctuary.

Grades 7-8

7th and 8th graders will have a home to meet in the class nearest the rear of the building, on the downstairs floor. Our teacher in that class is a middle school teacher in our local school system, and may even have donuts ready when you walk in the door!

Grades 9-12

For older teens, we have a Senior High class that meets downstairs in the youth room. Our teacher in this class is a member of our worship team, and may even have coffee and pastries ready to go along with her lesson!

Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones class is for young adults from post High School up to early 30’s. Our teachers in this group present the material in a practical way that includes group discussion. This group tries to meet once a month for fellowship activities outside of class, like picnics, bowling, going to a corn maze, or holiday parties.

Lydia Class

Lydia Class- women and men, aged mid 30’s and up (no set upper age limit) This class is our broadest in age range, and is one of the most active in its ministry outside of class. Anyone is welcome to come and have fellowship and study the Bible.

Silas Class

The Silas Class is made up of men aged 50 and up. These mature men have a good Bible study each week, and have a habit of reaching out to the other older folks who have needs.

Rebekah Class

Our Rebekah class is made up of women aged 50 and up. Our teacher in this class always has a well prepared lesson on God’s word ready each week, and is ready for new faces in class.

Fellowship Hall Class

For couples and singles aged 50 and up a great choice is the class meeting in the fellowship hall. The teacher in that class is a serious student of the Bible who loves to relate the lesson to contemporary events and events in history.
