Seasoned Citizens

We had a wonderful time of fellowship at our January meeting. Twenty-five people joined us as we make valentines for our Sunday School children.

The Seasoned Citizens decided to start collecting items needed by the Cecil County Pregnancy Center and Meeting Ground, a non-profit mission.

Items needed at the Pregnancy Center:

diapers, sizes 1-6
baby bottles
used boys winter clothing, sizes 3-18 months
boys and girls socks, sizes 6-24 months
boy and girl blanket sleepers, sizes 0-6 months
blankets (store bought or homemade)

Items needed at Meeting Ground include:

blankets - used and clean
toilet paper
paper napkins/towels
bleach/disinfectant
cleaning supplies
single bedding
hygiene items
socks

A 2008 A-Z Wish List for Meeting Ground is located on the bulletin board by the nursery with all of the items that are being requested.

The next Seasoned Citizens monthly meeting will be on March 7th at 10:30AM. Please join us for a great time of food, fun, and fellowship.

If you have an interest in crafts, let us know. If there is a specific craft that you enjoy, bring it in and share it with the group.

The FBC Men's Cook-Off will be held again this year. All men should watch for more information that will be coming soon. Who will take home the Wooden Spoon Award this year?

All tickets to Sight and Sound have been sold. For those who have purchased tickets, if you have any questions, see Fran Easter or Jane Bodie.
