When you arrive at FBC
you will be greeted by members of our friendly, loving
congregation who want to make you feel welcomed!
You will notice that everyone dresses as they feel most
comfortable. Meaning, some of us dress up and some of us
don't. That's okay...we come to learn about and worship
God, not to worry about our appearances.
We begin our 10:30 AM service by a time of sharing
welcome and announcements. This is followed by
discussion of prayer concerns and a time of giving these
requests to the Lord. Members are then provided an
opportunity to contribute tithes and offerings; as a
visitor you will feel no pressure to give. We then join
together in a time of offering our praises to the Lord
in song. We celebrate a blended service with a mixture
of contemporary music led by our Praise Team and
traditional hymns led by our worship leader. As we close
our praise and worship time, we quiet our hearts and
focus on the Message that God has given our pastor to
share with us. Pastor will end his message by having a
time of invitation to the altar. If God is speaking to
your heart, you will be able to go to the altar to pray,
seek counsel, or ask Jesus into your life. You will be
shown love and respect if you choose to take this step.
Finally, we close by joining hands and singing a closing
chorus.
After the service, you will find that we like to
fellowship and get to know each other a bit more. This
is a great chance to meet some great people!
Nursery services are provided for children under age 5.
Ask an usher and they will direct you to the nursery
where your child will be shown love and care.
Children ages 5 through 3rd grade are welcome to
participate in Children's Worship. Children will dismiss
with their worship leader just before the week's
Message.
Our 6:00 PM service is a more intimate time of
fellowship. After sharing welcome and announcements, we
gather in small groups for a 5-10 minute time of prayer.
This is followed by singing of hymns and collection of
tithes and offerings. We conclude the evening with the
Message and Invitation.
