Child Placement

Our nursery is provided for children, newborn through 4 years old. At the age of 5, children are asked to participate in the music portion of the worship service and then are invited to attend children's church.  There are two rooms used for our children.  Infant nursery room is for children newborn through age 2.  The toddler room is for children ages 2-4.

Nursery Workers

Our nursery workers are volunteers who regularly attend our church, many of which have children of nursery age.  The nursery requires a minimum of two personnel to be present in each room.  Adults 18 years and older may work in the infant room.  Seventh grade and older may work under adult supervision in the toddler nursery.

Dropping Off Your Child

Nursery services are provided during the entire morning worship service.  When dropping off your child at the nursery, please make the nursery workers aware of any needs your child has (scheduled infant feedings, activities to avoid, etc.)  Please label all items that are brought in with your child: diaper bag, bottle, cup, etc.  Please provide at least 2 disposable diapers and a change of clothes until your child is completely potty trained.  When visiting the nursery for the first time, you will be asked to complete a personal information sheet for your child.  This includes any allergies or special concerns that the nursery workers should be aware of.  This sheet will be kept on file in the nursery for future reference. You will also need to take a numbered tag when dropping off your child(ren).  That number will be assigned to your child(ren) and you must have the tag in order to pick up your child(ren).

Snacks

Light snacks (graham crackers, goldfish, pretzels, cheerios, etc.) will be offered for appropriate age groups.  If your child has allergies, the workers must be informed so that the child will not be given anything to eat that is harmful to them.

Illness

If your child is sick, please refrain from bringing him or her to our nursery due to exposure to our other children.  If your child has a fever, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, a runny nose with colored discharge, pink eye, or any unexplained rash, please wait until symptoms have been resolved before using our nursery facilities.
